This is posted simply because it should bring chuckles to readers. Things like this can happen to anyone - they've certainly happened to me in my professional life.
In the booklet that accompanies Naxos' 'Nellie Melba - The Complete Gramophone Company Recordings, Vol. 2' - the usual note by producer Ward Marston is missing. Instead, under his biography, is printed the following:
'Ward said he'll send his notes by Fri. am.'

Wow! I must buy this. It will become a collector's object and I will sell it on ebay, in 2023, in combo with Hussein's moustache, for one million dollars (&999.999,99 being the CD).
