I have a customer who is trying to sell a 7 year old Young Chang E-121 that is in near mint condition. It was very seldom used and has been cared for externally. I even went over the regulation this year to facilitate a sale that never happened. When her kids showed little interest, she hired me to rebuild a Chickering player baby grand for her and now I'm trying to return the favor and help her market and sell her upright. I recently had a customer tell me he was offered a Pramberger studio for 2400 new. My customer claims she paid somewhere around 6k for this thing in 95. I need to know, apple to apple, what the E-121 sells for new so I can price this thing. Any help would be appreciated.

I have been shopping for a PE-121 (Pramberger) and found best prices $3500 - $3600. However, it is usually shown with a 'sticker' price of $5800 +, depending on the kind of dealer it is. It is a pretty good piano for the money, but I decided to spend more and get a Kawai K-50. I am in Wisconsin, by the way, for price comparisons.

Hi Rich,

My 1995 Ancott Directory doesn't show an E-121.

My 1999 Ancott Directory says the E-121 is built in China and shows the retail prices in the $3500.00 range.
