I can usually work out how to play a particular scale comfortably and reasonably quickly. But the B major pentatonic has me stumped> Here's what I am using at the moment:

B C# D# F# G# B 1 2 3 4 5 1

OK for going up, but tricky for going down.

Any suggestions on fingering for this scale?

Thanks

No, the fingering is fine. Assuming this scale has to be played rapidly, there are two main considerations, rapid grasp of the hand position as a chord, and continuous movement of the upper arm to bring the hand into position. I would practice first playing it in 'clumps', that is as a chord, up and down the keyboard. You need to grasp the chord position promptly with no fumbling. When this is perfect at a pretty good speed, you can start thinking about finger motion.

That should work ok, but an alternative is...

1 2 3 1 2 (finishing with a 3 on the top
