I am buyng a first piano for my 6 year old. I am considering two options at the moment.
1. Yamaha P2 made in 1966, in good condition for $1200
2. Yamaha M450TC for $2750 that according to the owner, was bought new and imporated from Japan in the mid-90s. It is in good condition, however according to the serial number search it was made in 1976.

If the community here can kindly offer their options, that would be fantastic.

Anyway, before buying I am planning to pay a piano tech to check the piano out.

Elena, personally I would go for the Yamaha P2 from '66. If the owner of the other one is already lying about the date of production I wouldn't put too much trust in the rest of the things he's claiming.
