Hello,

I have an old Steinway Duoart (a player piano, now minus the player mechanism) grand. I have looked EVERYWHERE for the serial number and come up with nothing. However, the number F710 appears in several places, as does the number 1063. Plus, I found an engraved 1927 on part of the action metal frame. I wonder if this is the year the piano was made. I'm confident it's at least that old.

I read online that it may be possible to locate the serial number on the legs somewhere. It is NOT on the key slip nor the fall board nor anywhere inside the piano on the metal frame.

Any help?

Thanks!

Kurt
