Clemen Krauss's Parsifal of 1953 was the fastest ever conducted in Bayreuth. Along came Boulez.

Is there an recording of this Krauss-Parsifal?

I have it on LP: Melodram MEL 533, four LPs. (The number of LPs should indicate how really fast this performance is! FWIW, I have not listened to it in a very long time...)

The principal singers are as follows:

Parsifal - Ramón Vinay Kundry - Martha Mödl Amfortas - George London Gunemanz - Ludwig Weber Klingsor - Hermann Uhde Titurel - Josef Greindl

If you have a chance to listen to it, don't forget to post about it. Has it ever made it to CD?

It appeared on an Italian CD label - possibly Foyer - in good sound. As a performance it was a sort of anti-Knappertsbusch, an interesting position to take.
