I know of these: alt.binaries.music.classical alt.binaries.sounds.music.classical alt.binaries.sounds.mp3.classical

There is considerable overlap among them, but they're all worth checking. Sure, there is a lot of bandwidth wasted (in my opinion) on the 'In a Classical Mood' rubbish, or on items trivially available by purchasing them legally ... but sometimes people will do transfers from LP, repeats of live broadcasts, and enough similar things to make it worthwhile.

Exactly right. I think it is of highest importance to look after the classical market so those involved in it will not be allowed to throw around rubbish in attempts to destroy for the community. People who fall down to proto-psychopatology and other people who are like kids, should really know their place in the society and not try to stick up.
