i couldn't believe it when i saw it on the DG website, goto the ORIGINAL MASTERS page (and some upcoming new releases too !) before this ng readers sending the suggestions out, can you guys post some suggestins here ???

Activity 1: Make your own compilation

Do you have a wish list of historical recordings along the lines of the Original Masters that you think could be re-released as part of this series?

We invite you to draw up a 5 - 7 CD compilation featuring one of our leading artists from the 1950s.

We are planning ten releases for later this year. Five are already fixed (see below), none or all of the other five can be your compilations. The winners, whose compilation we manufacture will receive five complete releases (any four of your choice out of the entire Original Masters series plus your release!). Your name will of course be printed in the booklet under 'Repertoire Compilation.'

Closing date for submission is 30 June 2003. Click here for Terms of Participation.

Unfortunately for me, the Boston Symphony Chamber Players' recording of Stravinsky's 'L'Histoire du Soldat' was recorded in the 1970s; and David Del Tredici's 'Final Alice' in the 1980s.
