What's interesting to me is that all of his auctions appear to feature 'Musical Heritage Society' editions of the CDs. These are not sold in retail stores, so I don't know how these could be due to a store closing.

He's referring to his eBay virtual 'store'wherein the items are price fixe. Closing probably because of the recent legal judgement damning eBay's 'Buy it Now' policy. The MHS CD's can often be found in record store cut-out bins; this seller probably gets them from the same source.
