Because I always forget the fake name/address given and have to register over and over with yet another fake identity. Pain in the ass and no business of theirs.
BTW, I subscribe to the NYT m-f in NYC and Sat-sun in CT but, this being a long weekend, I had to buy it in CT. I do not object to buying it.
