Gabriela Montero, one of the lesser known participants in the inaugural quartet, Along with Pearlman and Yo Yo.

She is so poised and confident, obviously loves what she does, and feels very comfortable. Beside everything obvious that is impressive in this video, I am most impressed that she lets herself sit and think for a good minute, before starting to improvise, knowing that will be accepted and respected by the audience.

As such, she prove herself to be not only a very good pianist and musician, but also one who recognizes her own ability, which may sound trivial, but really, is probably a life work for most of us.
