Does anyone know how to connect a Kawai CP155 to a computer? It claims that there is not MIDI input device - but I have USB to MIDI working on XP. Is there anything that I am missing here? HELP PLEASE

I'm no expert, but in order to record music with my Roland KR1077, I have to use an interface. I hook up the midi on the piano to the midi on the interface, then hook the usb on the interface to the usb on my computer. I use a Lexicon Omega. Unless you have a usb port on your piano, I think you'll have to get an interface of some sort.

Let me know what you find out. I also have a floppy. The problem I had was that the type of file it recorded on wouldn't work on my laptop and I couldn't figure out a way to convert the file to something more useful. There may be a program out there that will do that, but I also wanted to be able to hook up some other instruments and vocals.
