The CBC fed us the third movement of the Bruckner 6th this afternoon on the LSO label, and I wouldn't want to make a meal of it. It was HORRID. Foursquare phrasing and totally strange miking giving the woodwinds prominence over the brass. Who in their right mind would have let this out of the can?
Anybody else found something lately I should avoid?
