I am very sorry to hear this. Ted Perry was undoubtedly one of the pioneers of the modern classical recording scene. I had an exchange of emails with him a couple of years ago, which I reported on this group. I had suggested some titles for inclusion in volume 4 of the British Light Music series. He replied that there was not going to be a volume 4, as there was not enough material to warrant it. I managed to persuade him to change his mind, and volume 4 was subsequently issued, albeit with only one of my suggestions.
