I think I might agree with you as your piano being a late model. I'm looking it up as I write, so I'll let you know if I have any success finding out definitively.
On our site we have numberous links for different sites that offer help in dating pianos, but the name of the piano manufacturer made me want to dig deeper. It's quite difficult to find out information on your piano as the date seems to be off the charts with the serial number starting with 68.

I would love it if you found out the age that you would re-post under this thread and let me know what you found out. It is an odd thing to not be able to find out the information I need, but it does happen from time to time.
