Hi there guest.
The path of the professional piano player is a very difficult, demanding, and often lonely one. Starting at the age of 10 would be considered by some as quite late for this, but the most important thing is an ongoing commitment to your playing.
You will be spending a lot of time developing finger technique and endurance. The sort of pieces expected at concert level are very demanding - the energy that you expend, both emotional and physical, are obvious in any great performance.
Enter competitions, get yourself known as a musician, and never think that you've made it. There's no end to the learning required.
Look up the posts and blogs of concert pianists and ask them. Try a search for pianists such as Stephen Hough or Valentina Lisitsa.
Trust this helps.
