Gian Francesco, I thought? (There's also a cello concerto by Riccardo Malipiero but I know of no recordings.)

Also on Erato (Rostropovich/Orch. National de France/Halffter.)

Giorgio Ghedini (I) - Musica concertante and Invenzione (Koch). (Neither Castelnuovo-Tedesco's concerto nor Pizzetti's concerto in C is recorded, I believe?) (Martucci's andante in B-flat has been recorded in a cello and orchestra arrangement (ASV), but I don't know if the list is going there. I suppose it already has (Faure's elegy)- that arrangement is well-known and accepted, in any case.) The Canzona from Paul Ben-Haim's concerto for cello (in cello/piano recital performance) is on an Ohio State U. tape, but that's not quite a commercial recording. Necil Akses' symphony for cello and orchestra is on Hungaroton. Have we already covered Japan in an earlier thread; is it not meant to be included in your etc.? Shin-Ichiro Ikebe's cello concerto 'Almost a Tree' (1996) is on Camerata CDT-1030. Another Camerata CD has Akira Nishimura's concerto (1990.) Eric Schissel
