Would somebody PLEASE identify a piece of music for me? It was on the 'Ed Sullivan Show' back in the 1960s.

Setup: There was a ballet company from one of the Scandinavian countries. Memory suggests Sweden or Denmark; if the latter, the music could well have been something by Hans Christian Lumbye. The dancers were dressed as cows and appeared in a line, dropping their jaws (as though chewing cud) on the beats designated below as 'A,' and then swaying from side to side during the more legato phrases. The melody began something like this:

Well, thanks; if it really is the Royal Danish Ballet, I suppose I could go to the Museum of Television & Radio in Beverly Hills (not too far from where I work, in fact) and see if they have the show of 7 October 1956 available. If they don't, or if they do and that's not the music that I remember, then that would exhaust the usefulness of that URL for me. And even so, the music itself (composer and title) may not have been properly identified on the show. I was kind of hoping that somebody would see my post, hum the music, recognize it, and say, 'Of course!'
