The record collection in Denmark is now an invalid item. And I have a friend in Denmark who could have had a big collection for a penny.

I wonder how many listings they have and how many employees they have to police their policies. It sounds like a futile job.

The only fair thing is for eBay to be self-policing. If he can't play by the eBay rules, he shouldn't be using eBay to begin with.

eBay typically don't even respond to reported cases of selling pirated material before an auction completes....and when they do, they report that they will only act if the actual copyright holder reports the material has been pirated. Very lax.

Besides, the *real* money to be gotten from a 'big fish' such as eBay lies elsewhere, such as in suing them over the 'Buy It Now!' or half.com technology. Cheese H. Whiz! I should copyright the word 'THE' and get me a lawyer, and the whole English-speaking world can kiss my ass for the rest of my life (or for 90 years, anyway).
