Hello,
We are trying to decide between these two pianos. The CX5H is about $500 cheaper. On the other hand the 506S has a larger sound board, more ribs and longer string length. Our kids are just starting out on their piano lessons. Both pianos are brand-new.

Harsh,
There is no comparison. The 506S is a much, much better piano.
The action is pretty much the same, but the CX-5H had a very lightweight structure, had a smaller back with laminated soundboard, and had no back posts.
