Shameless self-promotion, part 4: I'm auctioning a CD that may be of interest to some of you - the Kolisch Qt. playing Mozart quartets nos. 19 and 22. Transfers by Barton Wimble.

I saw one copy at Tower Outlet used CD bin (NYC) for 3.99 (with a tiny scratch) and listened to it on my walkman. The playing is charmingly 'old world' in being relaxed and expressive, and the transfers are decent, if a bit noisy and boomy by today's standard (e.g., compared to MOT's work for NAXOS). I passed on it in the end because I felt that the relaxed playing would eventually become tedious on repeated hearings.
