In the case of Young Chang, yes their 9 footer seems to be unrelated to the res of their line. Their 7 footer appears to be mass produced, however. It is still a very good instrument. Samick has a model WFG275 that is directly related to it's excellent WG series. It is not (IMHO) a hand built separate model, but it is very good in any case. I don't know of any chinese concert grands that I can recall.
