I am waiting for an order from a Korean on-line store...I ordered in early January, and they just shipped it this week. I don't mind because the shipping rate is very very low. So I guess it's worth it... What's the longest wait you've ever had for an order..either domestic or international?

I am still waitin for a DVD that I won on Ebay in November. It is coming from Australia. The vendor has an automated e-mail response that says he is out of town and cannot answer his email I may have been ripped off though

international?

In recent years, just over 3 months - for Beethoven 9 / Horenstein (Vox). It would be unfair to name the supplier as I doubt it was their fault and, in any case, they didn't charge for the disc until they despatched it. The same supplier normally takes 5 to 6 days, timed from my placing the order on their website until the package is delivered. Like me, they are in the UK.

I ordered four CDs from HMV Japan on November 21, they still haven't shipped. Two are 'ready', two are still 'on order.' I'm not sure when to give up waiting and cancel the missing items.

Months (I forget how many) for an order from A&B in Canada. My amusement at watching a couple of discs move among their various warehouses, evidently getting farther from rather than closer to their destination in the process, eventually gave way to mild irritation and I canceled the order.

The infamous André Perrault import service, which I used back in the early 1980s, generally kept me waiting between two and three months for my LPs.

That's short compared to length I had to wait for a set from this online store (not related to classical)....IIRC I ordered in maybe Novemeber or earlier, and got it in March. And they shipped UPS with no alert email (AND I had payed for that one with an MO), so it was annoying waiting anf hoping for the UPS guy to come every day...

Andre Perrault used to do bulk orders. They waited for months until sufficient orders had accumulated before even sending out orders.

Now that I think about it, I only ordered from them two or three times, and the wait was more like four months.

Isn't that the original soundtrack, of which only the very last cut, a Chopin nocturne, is played by Szpilman himself?
