This video is from Love Me Or Leave Me (1955) staring Doris Day in her peak and James Cagney, playing Ruth Etting the Jazz singer and her husband the gangster Martin Snyder. The movie tells the story of the incredibly talented singer who could only get out of the dingy dance halls with the help of her gangster husband Martin Snyder who propelled her to a much better place professionally but made her off stage life into a living nightmare.

The movie is a combination between a musical and a thriller/darma and could be a good choice for weekend vewing under the covers.
