I just installed a replacement CD-RW in my computer (a Dell Dimension 4300, FWIW). One of my first orders of business was finally to back up my copy of the Krauss Ring on Gala before the CDs deteriorated. I began with _Das Rheingold_. I fired up Roxio Easy CD Creator 5.x to make a copy, and all seemed to go smoothly. Then I listened to the disc that I had made. All was okay until I got to the last track. Then it was evident that the copier had not done a good job reading the last track.
