I will be advertising my Yamaha P80 for sale here locally in San Diego County and would like to get some idea of what I should charge. I have owned it less than a year, is in excellent shape and still have the original box. Any idea what it should go for? Thanks.

Look for P80 on EBay or just list it there. EBay is the real 'new economics' everyone should have been talking about. A national, if not global, auction market for *anything*.

In agreement with the below, put in p80 and search completed auctions for a ballpark.

You would be much better off to sell it on ebay. It should bring about what a new one does there. ($800 or so) I don't understand this phenomenon, but I use it. I can buy anything at the local music store, try it and if I don't like it I can expect to sell it on ebay for what I paid for it.
