I am in the process or have recently finished transferring from tapes several concert broadcasts that included Bruckner symphonies. None of the tape originals have dates on them. Can anyone give me an idea of when they come from?

Dohnanyi-Cleveland Orchestra - Ligeti: Atmospheres; Wagner: LOHENGRIN - Prelude to Act I; Bruckner: Symphony Nr. 9.

Sawallisch-SanFrancisco Symphony - Beethoven: Piano COncerto Nr. 1 (with Andre Watts); Bruckner: Symphony Nr. 1

Skrowachewski-Philadelphia Orch. Bruckner: Symphony Nr. 5

Dohnanyi-Philadelphia Orchestra. - Ligeti: Chain II; Bruckner: Symphony Nr. 9

Gunther Herbig-BSO. in Tanglewood - Bruckner: Symphony Nr. 4

I would be very grateful to know even a close approximation on any of the above.

The dates for the Bruckner 1/Sawallisch/SF Symphony are April 19, 20, 21 and 22, 1989. Also on the program was Beethoven Piano Concerto No. 1 w/ Andre Watts.

What are you talking about?

Bruckner never had a date!
