Hello, I am considering buying a Yamaha Clavinova 950. The dealer said it used to be around $3400 now down to $2300 (Canadian). Does that sound right to anyone? Since the 100 series is now out, I wonder if I should get the 950 or wait for a newer one?

What does everyone think of the clavinova? What I really want is the piano feel and sound, I don't really care about the extras.

For that price you could buy a decent second hand upright which would be far superior to any Clavinova and which will hold its resale value. Go for the upright.
