What's have you lent out from your collection that still has not been returned? Three years ago a little woman borrowed my VHS tape of Uchida playing the Debussy Etudes...She has since moved to LA... I borrowed the CD 'Horowitz plays Liszt' from a friend almost 10 years ago and he has moved to Texas... And then there are the unopened CDs in my collection.

Just last night I was looking for my Verdi biography to refresh my memory of the context of the composition of La Triviata after watching it on DVD, when I remembered that I had 'loaned' the book to a friend years ago. I think I can safely assume I won't be getting it back anytime soon (especially since we're no longer in contact).

Regards,

Not sure. I assume that any book or CD that I give to someone is gone for good and am always pleasantly surprised when it is returned. So I don't lend/give books or CDs very often.
