I just came back from checking out some pianos. One blew me away in terms of its value and sound.

It was a Hazelton Bros new baby grand. Price tag, $5000 for a 5'4' new piano. The largest piano dealer in the area walked me through his whole

Samick has apparently bought the Hazelton Bros name, and has just started selling two very nice baby grands (a 4'7' and a 5'4' under that name.

I hear they are improving.

What is the feeling around here.

Forget the 4' 7', no matter who is building it. As for Hazelton, there are lots of better choices out there for the same money. Buying a Hazelton is almost like you're *trying* to find off brand junk.

Dragging up old memory, wasn't Hazelton one of the Pearl River labels when Kamann distributed them???
