Anybody have the now OOP Chant du Monde 278.389 which contains Svetlanov conducting 'Alexander Nevsky' and 'Zdravitsa' (the latter mistranslated as 'Chant de Joie' - Zvravitsa means Toast as in 'Cheers!'

- plus 'Ils sont sept' conducted by Rozhdestvensky?
There is an extremely curious detail regarding the very conclusion of 'Nevsky' - the long-held B flat major orchestral and choral tutti - fades out!!! Not completely, but the volume is reduced to about half the original amplitude (my guess). I kinda remember reading something about this touch in an old review of the LP version, possibly in 'Fanfare.' Anyone know the story behind this screwball effect?
In the meantime I'm thinking of throwing the movement into the computer and seeing if I can restore the volume with good ole Cool Edit. And maybe correct a couple of too-abrupt reverb cut-offs at the same time.
Thanks for any information.
