Natalie Wickham from Music Matters blog pointed me in the direction of a great data base for 20th Century Piano Lit. that could come in as a very handy tool for teachers and pianist alike. The site is a database started by Dr. Kathy Rabago, who has degrees in music education and piano pedagogy.

This is a very thorough data base, for teachers especially, as you can search by composer, level of student, Tempo, Time Signature, Articulation, Rhythmic Issues, Harmonic Content and Technique to name a few.

There is also a clearly explain glossary and and some information about the composers.
