Not *entirely* OT, as there is content with actual well-known classical music performers of the time. It contains a performance by Jose and Amparo Iturbi, and Gracie Allen performing a 'Concerto for Index Finger' with an orchestra conducted by (so help me) Albert Coates! (Gracie even gets to use the English-Russian conductor as her straight man for a joke: 'But Miss Allen, Shostakovich has done some wonderful things with a diminished fifth!' 'Yeah, just think what he could have done with the whole bottle!'
I saw this movie once at a motel in Blythe, California, at an overnight stop while travelling from San Francisco to Phoenix for the 1978 World Science Fiction Convention.
