Need some help. Am using Piano Discovery 3.01 and it works fine. Sounds fine. EXCEPt the metronome won't 'click'. I have the correct Sound Blaster card (SB16 PCI) with the latest drivers, and ALL OTHER midi files that I play through the card work fine.

It's jsut that PD 3.01's metronome function makes only a low flute-like sound, no matter which of the umpteen selections I make.

Anybody heard of anything like this, or know the fix. The manufacturer has been helpful but can;t solve this one.

Well, I see no one else has an instant fix, so all I can offer is a suggestion. I'm using both the PD disc and the Miracle program the PD was derived from (plus Voyetra's Teach Me Piano). Recall encountering your problem, but it was so long ago, and so much midi tinkering in between, not sure how I fixed it. It may involve a MIDI patch in the setup part of PD, or it may involve a similar patch in Windows(?) settings. Believe the metronome is just one of the general midi sounds for a drumstick beating (may be wrong there). Anyway, I think there's a special channel for the drum section, so that has to be factored in as well. If you can't fix it, and it'll help, I'll be glad to send along my settings (W95B, AW64), if you'll repost here.
