Can anyone suggest a piano module or sound module that has acoustic piano sounds that can match the sounds on the yamaha ydp-121 or the p-120? Or maybe even better sounds? I really love the sounds on teh ydp but ita 1000 dollars and they dont hav a stand alone module. I keep getting these horrible reiviews for other pianos like the sg rack, micro piano, proformance. etc thx Cedric

What is your application of the Module out of curiosity? Have you though about sampled pianos that can be played with a PC?

If you can find one, listen to a Yamaha MU15. It's dirt cheap, and I have been told that it has the same pianos as the P series Yamahas. I haven't heard it myself. Gerry

Assuming it has the same piano sample as the MU100, don't bother.
If you need good quality piano sound then try a Korg SGRack or the Kurzweil MicroPiano. They don't do much in the way of other sounds but they do their job well.
I've been using the Korg for about 5 years now and haven't heard it beaten anywhere.
Go to the audio samples on my webpage to hear it.
