I'm looking for a table type stand for my RD700. I need possibly a two tier table system for speaker placement and sheet music. Any suggestions? Cant's find too many sites that offer stands other than your typical X stand.

I've seen some four-legged stands around on the Net. They cost around $100. Keep searching, and you'll come across one. Google usually works pretty good.

Isn't there a music store in your vicinity? These only cost $50-$75, so it's not like paying retail is going to break your budget.

I live in Roseburg, Oregon. A very small community. There is a music store with a pathetic selection of stands. For the stores I've been to in the bigger citites, Eugene and Salem, a four legged two tier table type stand is a rarity. I can't find them.

I use an X stand with my RD-700 (though it is more robust than the typical X stand). Is that your only reason for avoiding the X stand (because many of them are wimpy)?

I don't mind the X stands, but I'm looking for a table type so I can put a pair of monitors on it. How would you be able to incorporate speakers with an X-stand? Are there add on adapters and such?

I just set my speakers on the floor, and my amp atop of one of the speakers.
