Same here. Probably because I've also been smart enough to know whom I could lend discs and whom I shouldn't. Never had a problem. (And I do check.

I don't trust myself with 'prized CDs' and therefore only use cd-r copies Only copies are ever used in the car.
Again, give 'em CD-Rs.

I simply consider any CD or book that I lend to anyone is gone for good. Almost all of them come back unscathed, though.

I've never loaned any of my CDs out to friends yet over time some CDs start to skip for some unknown reason. If I can see fingerprints on hte cd I used windex and toilet paper which always works, however if it's not a fingerpring nothing has worked for me. Best,
