On a bit of a Chamber binge at the momment. I like the Prazak Quartet (Praga through Harmoni Mundi) Shubert String quartet Rosamunde and Death and the maiden very much. Agressive 1st movement into a sombre 2nd in the D&M.

I like the Prazak Quartet very much, but for some reason didn't care for this release as much as most of their others. Perhaps since there is so much competition for these works, or perhaps they just excel at other repetoire. Either way, I didn't wind up keeping this disc (purchased at

OTTOMH I really like their Dvorak, Janacek, Schoenberg, and Zemlinsky. Their Haydn a little less so.

I love their Dvorak. I have a disc with the 'American' and a couple of other works. Crisp and taut. Very nice.
