In several of my CD burning software I have templates for designing my own Labels, however, when I try to import of paste copies of pictures I wish to use or indeed in rare occasions I wish to insert an existing Label, I am unable to do so, can someone tell me the best programme for doing this or even why I am going wrong using my present software, Instant CD and Feurio.

You might want to think about whether you want labels at all. If the adhesive is not 100% perfect, and the label starts to peel or lift, you could end up with an unplayable disc.

After all, it's not like an LP where you could look closely as it played and see what the label said!

It's also worth noting that Feurio state that they have yet to perfect their jewel case labelling system but it's in the pipeline. The one thing about Feurio jewel case labels is you have to put in all the correct data BEFORE you extract the audio files as it has no facility to edit the final copy - yet!

Cheers

Not sure I understand this. Doing the labels is the LAST thing I do; sometimes even AFTER the disc is burned. But maybe the difference comes from the fact that I use EAC for extraction then import the extracted waves into a Feurio project for editing and naming of tracks and providing text info for the project. Then, finally, the burn. Covers and inlays can continue to be edited (except for track timings on the inlay) as long as the project is not deleted.

As you point out, Feurio's label system is not perfect, but I've been more than satisfied. I look forward to improvements. One especially that I would like to see is for inlays appropriate for multi-CD projects, where the tracks for all CDs would be on one inlay.
