I don't know how bad BMG/RCA's business is now a days. But could it be this bad? http://www.andante.com/article/article.cfm?id=19979 But hey, I'd rather people exercise their organ while listening to Mozart's music instead of Billy Joe's! ^_^

Do they have a disk for Hendrik Focking? William Cummings? Engelbert Humperdinck?

There is nothing seriously wrong with the 'music industry' today that could not be considerably ameliorated by the proper application of a wooden two- by-four with a couple of rusty nails banged through it. This, I venture, is a good example.

What a surprise that the culprit is R. Peter Munves, in the late twilight of his years and long past the time when he was the least bit useful in the music world. For this junk, I think he deserves to be driven out of the business entirely. I hope his friends shun him, and I have the feeling that the resentment will inevitably stain the eulogies when he dies.

What a vile and despicable person Munves has become.

By the way, somebody seems to have predicted that he would slide this far, more than five years ago. Look at the infamous London Records Visitor Talk page, preserved by hands unknown. Warning, it is definitely not for the faint of heart!

She's now in Vegas singing with big bands, under the name 'Pia Zadora.'

But maybe you're right.

*cackle* No, Harnoy looks rather like Zadora, only with a cello where Meshulam Riklis used to be.

Did she play a cello piccolo?
