Recently my wife’s grandmother gave her an upright piano made by the Huntington piano co. The piano was originally purchased by her great-grandmother, The SN is 42366. We were wondering if there is any way of determining the manufacture date and if the companies archive is accessible for possibly getting a copy of the order or other purchasing info.
Any help would be great

This site offers research on your piano to find date of manufacture, and they also offer a piano appraisal service.

They can also give the history of the maker of your piano, original price, where it was built.

NOTE: THEY CHARGE A FEE FOR THEIR SERVICES http://www.mprpiano.com/history/

Best wishes,
