Hi,
I use a Roland FP8 keyboard since about 8 years, and I think the contacts are worn out, because from one key to another, there are sometimes important velocity changes.
Has someone here had the same problem? May the contacts be cleaned or changed, or all I have to do is to change my keyboard?
Thanks in advance,

Yes I have had similar problems Pierre. I have used my fp8 a lot since new. I have replaced keys that have broken. Initially when I got the instrument, I had a problem with notes sounding that were not actuated. This was due to a connector design problem and Roland fixed it right away.Replacing the keyboard can be rather expensive. If you have any technical skills, I would open it up and have a look to see is any of the counter weights are broken, or the felt stops for the individual keys is worn. I call the parts dept at Roland Canada in Vancouver directly and order parts to my home and repair it myself. They also have the tech manual for the instrument available last I checked (5 years or so) and I have one. Barring that I am waiting to buy a new instrument, as it is probably time!! Try calling the repair dept at Roland for the country you are in. I have found them quite helpful in the past. Michael
