S-80 Purchase Extended Warranty? please advise

Keep your money. Extended warranties are nothing more than a way to get more money out of you.

If you just *have* to do it though, send the money to me. I'll give you a 2 year warranty. (just kidding, to make a point).

I agree totally. In fact I never pay for warranties on any electronic equipment...electronics reliability is far too high. However, as usual, it is the mechanical part that might be troublesome...the key switches, mainly. If the techs in the group would comment on the amount of problems they have with such devices on electric pianos it would be quite instructive and helpful. TS
