Where do I get good sheet music with the suggested fingering notations. I am especially interested in Mozart's Sonata in C, K. 545, but am really interested in where to buy good quality sheet music and knowing what I am getting.

Thanks

The Henle editions usually include good fingerings.

I personally have a russian edition of this sonata with wonderful fingerings, but I saw it also published by Alfred Publishing (rather fancy to my taste).

Ok, but where do I buy these things, is there a web site I can find it or do I just have to go to all the music stores to try to find it?

The best idea is to go to a good , serious, music store (bad idea if you can't resist temptation to buy more than you intended). As for Alfred Publishing on-line dealers , here is the link: <URL:http://www.alfredpub.com/dealers/dealerweb.html>

Try this: www.henle.de/

Also, try Dale Music in Silver Spring website. They accomodate online ordering.

Thanks Guys!!! I have a friend in Silver Spring and can probably get him to check it out unless I can make a trip there some weekend, it is about an hour and a half away from me.

The help is much appreciated.

There is really no substitute for finding a really good music store, going in, and looking through the music yourself. A good music store will generally have multiple editions of most classical music. I am fortunate enough to live near the Theodore Presser Company in Bryn Mawr, PA, which has a store with the best selection of music I have ever seen (many publishers, not just Presser). If you are ever in that area, it is well worth a visit.
