You can say that again. I turned it off after the first half hour. The issue of the mother rejecting 'Rosie' is totally Bowdlerized in the film version. She's Hispanic (Chita Rivera played her in the original stage version) but not in the film. At least they used Vanessa Williams in the TV version so the racist element makes sense. David Alexander just can't seem to shake the 'George' character from Seinfeld, no matter how much he tries. Pity.

Just perfect.

I still recall with a shiver how my best friend and I saw Camelot at one of those late night campus screenings back in the early 70s. I think it started about 11 pm or so. About what turned out to have been half way through the movie, I looked at my watch, thinking it must have been 3 or 4 am already, and was shocked at how little of the movie we had managed to live through at that point. It was a film that did more to displace all sense of time and space
