The 1925 was available on Biddulph. The 1973 was presumably in the BMG boxed set. Which of his other recordings (and live performances, for that matter) have been issued on CD?

Thanks. I tried that site last night just before asking the question here, and it wasn't working. I had thought maybe it was gone. Works fine now.

Stokie's New Philharmonia (1973) version is one of my favorite stereo renditions. Going by the discography, I also have the 1934 (1935 according to the notes in my 'History' CD set

letters to be typed in

I guess I was struck by sudden nostalgia for that very 2-LP set, whose notes mentioned those multiple early recordings.

I seem to recall the New Philharmonia recording was pretty keen, though he did something odd at the end of the slow movement, something like doubling violins and double basses in the final chord.
