Anyone heard this yet? There was a discussion earlier about the merits of the various recordings already issued... Scherchen...Stokowski... Downes... Faberman... This recent Telarc release is wonderful... the sound quality is up to Telarc's standard (excellent) and the performance is majestic... it does NOT allow for any dozing during the slow episodes (as pointed out by some posters)... it moves along at a wonderful pace... and it sounds brilliant... this is MY favorite version...

Amen. Lithe and brilliant. Stupendous sound in MCH (if you turn the rear channels down by 4-6d.
