Hi, my name is Timmy, and I am 7 years old. I would like to know if I am too old to learn how to play piano? I like the barney songs and also I like some of the snoopy songs too. My friend told me that all good piano players start at 6. I wish I had started then, too, with my busy schedule of coloring, and learning the alphabet, I just couldn't find the time.

Dear Tim, if you didn't learn the alphabet until you were older than 6 you probably should buy a drum kit.

You can still learn to play for fun, but you are far too old to play at the concert level. You should have been playing Haydn 4 years ago.
