The one record that made the charts was The Mozart Sym 39 Finale with the La Scala Orhcestra. It charted 4/30/21 for one week and peaked at number 12.

The only trouble is that there were no charts in those days, certainly nothing comparable to the modern Billboard charts. Whitburn has concocted these early 'charts' by referring to industry publications, catalogs, and sheet-music sales figures, but the results ought to be taken 'cum poundo salis' as they say.

'Ook ook' is usually defined as, 'My pleasure senses have been diddled,' as particularly by some amusing display of ineptness or odd coincidence. The 'slobber drool' is added on for euphony.
In fact, in the context of the auctions, an 'ook' is 50¢, 'slobber' 75¢, and 'drool' $1, so there the phrase means a bid of $2.75.
