As some members of this newsgroup will recall from last year, I helped dispose of the collection of the late Dr. Ben Stevenson. Amoung the things that came into my own collection was his tape archive

Hi,

I am a long time fan of the Philadelphia Orchestra in Japan.

I believe that it is a recording of the concert on July 1, 1978 at the Academy of Music. The program was as follows:

Wolf-Ferrari: Overture to 'The Secret of Suzanne' Moussorgsky-Ravel: Pictures at an Exhibition Strauss: Suite from 'Der Rosenkavalier,' Op. 59

In fact, the concert was held for video recording by UNITEL, which is now very rare to find. So I recommend you to keep it with good care.
